We are looking for a permanent position:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to join our team at our Vantaa office.

Your Role

In this technically versatile role, you will be independently responsible for the electrical design of your own projects. Your work involves machine electrical design across all Rosendahl Nextrom product areas. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will participate in both customer-specific projects and product development, ensuring that our products meet the highest technical and customer requirements.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, Electrical, and work in close collaboration with mechanical and automation designers. You will also support and interact extensively with various stakeholders, including Purchasing, project managers, product managers, production and commissioning.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and documenting electrical solutions in customer projects and in product development.
• Defining electrical engineering requirements based on product functionalities in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Creating circuit diagrams, layout drawings, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical design issues during development, production, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensuring the quality of electrical design and adherence to project schedules.
• Following technology development and participating in the continuous improvement of operational processes.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a technically skilled and experienced engineer with a genuine interest in machine electrical design. You should be able to work effectively as an individual contributor with ownership of your projects, while also possessing strong teamwork and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical design for machinery and knowledge of electrical components.
• Proficiency in electrical computer aided design tools (Eplan P8 and Aton are used; experience with similar tools is beneficial).
• Ability to create circuit diagrams and manufacturing drawings
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good English skills and basic Finnish skills is required.
• Willingness to travel (typically 0–25% of working time).
