We are looking for a driven and innovative Business Controller, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to work in a key position for Sandvik, Surface Drilling Division in Tampere, Finland.

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service, digital solutions and sustainability-driving technologies for mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying. In 2022, sales were approximately 57 billion SEK with about 16 200 employees.

Surface Drilling Division within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a world leading supplier of surface mining and construction equipment and related services.

ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND AND WHAT IS FOUND IMPORTANT

You are familiar with working in a supply chain environment in the industry sector with experience in a similar in-house role or as a consultant. Your IT system understanding is excellent, and you are data savvy with experience from reporting systems and ERP (SAP).

You have a track record in successful business improvement project management and execution, and you can carry out the identified improvement needs by not only understanding the numbers but also seeing the bigger picture. You have an analytical as well as pragmatic approach to your tasks, and you have great collaboration skills - working closely with multiple teams and stakeholders in a matrix organization requires strong communication and negotiation skills. Your capability to question and challenge our organization is highly valuated and needed. You are familiar with project work and have a continuous improvement mindset. Since we work in a global environment, fluency in English is required. You have a relevant educational background, i.e., a master's degree in an applicable field.


ABOUT YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will be part of the Supply Chain organization's diverse leadership team. You support Supply Chain function leaders in identifying improvement opportunities and business cases in the entire end-to-end Supply Chain and support the organization in the decision-making process by creating and providing the financial information needed such as cost information business case analysis and overall cost analysis. In addition, you will be part of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and produce commentary and analysis. You will lead the product costing development and you are responsible for forecasting and planning production and material costs, NWC, FTE's, investments, and ambition items such as profitability improvements and cost savings.

You are continuously improving our processes and will be the driver of our overall production system efficiency and operational excellence. With your expertise, you are guiding the leadership team and functions leaders - you will collaborate internally in a matrix organization i.e., with procurement, production, finance and logistics. You will also take part in different projects by supporting or leading them. Your projects can be i.e., product costing development and building the perspective and understanding of the Supply Chain's cost structure and related improvement opportunities.
